Burglary Beverley

Between 10pm on Thursday 1st May and 5am Friday 2nd May a burglary took place on Wilbert Place in Beverley. Unknown suspect(s) entered via an unsecured kitchen window and stole cash and jewelry from within the kitchen.  Victim believes she closed the window but handle wasn't clicked shut. 

This appears to be conducted by an opportunist who will go around checking doors and windows. Please, even in this hot weather, try to keep windows closed especially overnight, or if during the day just open slightly. Also remember not to leave any jewelry or cash on display.
